Is my first quarterly update really free?

Yes. You can connect to HMRC and file your first quarterly update without paying anything. You only choose a plan when you're ready to file again.

What's the difference between the £49 year and the £18 one-off?

The £49 annual plan covers your whole tax year: all four quarterly updates and the year-end final declaration, in one payment. The £18 one-off is for a single quarterly update if you only need to file once. If you end up filing more, the full year at £49 works out cheaper.

Are there any setup or hidden fees?

None. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no setup fees.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account and you won't be charged again.

Is this HMRC-recognised software?

Quarterly Filer is built to HMRC's Making Tax Digital specification and connects through HMRC's official Making Tax Digital service. We're currently completing HMRC's recognition process.
